Hayden Homes Amphitheater to utilize Yondr pouches for Bob Dylan phone-free concert experience.
For those attending the Bob Dylan concert Monday, June 27, please note that Bob Dylan and his crew have requested a phone-free experience. We will utilize Yondr pouches to create this phone-free experience which includes no cellphones, smart watches, cameras or recording devices.
How it works: Upon arrival at the venue folks will silence cell phones, remove smartwatches and secure them in a Yondr pouch that locks when it is closed, but remains in your possession for the duration of the show. The pouch stays locked, but can be unlocked for use in the designated phone use area. All cell phones will be re-secured in the Yondr pouch before returning to the performance space.
Where is the designated phone area? Phones will be permitted for use in the area around the big guitar selfie station near the main bar.
If my chair rental ticket is on my phone, how do I pick up my chair? There will be a main manifest list of all patrons who have chair rental reservations. We will take care of everyone upon entry through the main gate.
If I have a reserved seat and my ticket is on my phone, how will I find my seat? Our gate staff will make note of your seat assignment on a card for you to reference.
Please note: Anyone found using a phone, camera or recording device outside of the designated area without authorization will be removed from the venue.
This may seem like a big ask, especially considering the hyper-connected world we live in. However, no phone means no watching the show behind someone else’s screen, or even missing the show because you’re recording a story. We will all be fully engaged with the performance connecting with a living legend in real time and space. We appreciate your help in creating this phone-free viewing experience with us.
More information about the event can be found at bendconcerts.com/event/bob-dylan/, or contact the Ticket Mill in the Old Mill District 541-318-5457. The Ticket Mill is open Monday – Saturday 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Sunday 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
“I wanted to give people an experience. I think telling people to put their phones away really forces a person to be present.”
