Hayden Homes Amphitheater Crowd Shot

Long story short, we here at the Hayden Homes Amphitheater we love live music.

The artists who create the music, the way it brings people together in community, how it’s a common thread in the fabric of our history, and its power to move us. There’s no high quite like the one when the lights go down, the crowd volume becomes a whisper, and then, the first note of your favorite song hits your ears and the place goes wild. Add in the beauty of our extended summer sunsets nestled along the banks of the Deschutes River, and this is music the way it’s meant to be experienced.

The Hayden Homes Amphitheater is Oregon’s largest outdoor venue, accommodating up to 8,000 concertgoers on the grassy infield offering horizon views of the Cascades. With free parking, VIP seat options, and a stellar lineup of Central Oregon’s top food carts like Alley Dogz, TOTS!, and Dump City Dumplings paired with some of Bend’s best craft beer, cocktails and wine on hand, it’s clear why Travel + Leisure named us one of “America’s coolest venues.”

Our crew is all about creating musical moments that last a lifetime as well as the opportunity to see inspirational icons, who, over the years have included Ringo Starr, John Legend (above), Brandi Carlile, The Roots and Luke Bryan. As the composition of Bend evolves and tastes expand, so too have our concert and genre offerings. In fact, this year’s Les Schwab Tires Concert Series boasts the broadest spectrum of genres we’ve ever hosted.

From rock and roll comedy with Jack Black and Tenacious D to blues legends Bonnie Raitt and Mavis Staples; the hilarious self-deprecating humor of stand-up comedian Jim Gaffigan to the heart pumping electronic dance music of Flume and Rüfüs du Sol. This year brings country music moguls Kenny Chesney and The Chicks to our stage each for two nights, as well as reggae star Ziggy Marley performing a Tribute to His Father and hip-hop staple Atmosphere. Did we mention our favorite alt-rock artists Goo Goo Dolls, Alanis Morissette, Train and industrial rockers Nine Inch Nails are also slated to hit the amphitheater stage?

The Hayden Homes Amphitheater has also been hailed as an industry leader in sustainability for its Take Note Initiative. Our Green Team works diligently to reduce our environmental impact in various ways including the availability of water fill stations for reusable water bottles, compostable cups and utensils, cashless and paperless points of payment, digital tickets, separate receptacles for recycling, compost and trash, and multiple bike racks. We thank you all for doing your part to help us, too.

This summer is fixing to be one for the history books. We hope you come for the music, stay for the memories and know that we are glad you’re a part of the community!
