As a professional musician for over 30 years, Joe Bonamassa continues to blaze a remarkably versatile artistic trail, and amass an authentic, innovative and soulful body of work. Bonamassa's career began onstage opening for B.B. King in 1989 when he was only 12 years old. It was then that B.B. King declared, "Bonamassa is just good. One of a kind. The kind that will be legend before he's 25." B.B. was right. Joe Bonamassa is now synonymous with blues guitar, or as Guitar World wrote, "arguably the world's biggest blues guitarist." He has been featured on the cover of virtually every guitar magazine multiple times. His name is notorious among guitarists not only for being a virtuosos, but also for his incredible collection of vintage guitars, gear and memorabilia that keeps at his "Nerdville" home.
Today, he is hailed worldwide as one of the greatest guitar players of his generation and is an ever-evolving singer-songwriter with over 40 albums to date all under his own label, J&R Adventures. In 2011 Joe founded the Keeping The Blues Alive Foundation, a non-profit organization with the mission of providing resources and funding for music education across the United States.
