Let’s Get Ready To Rock!
Les Schwab Amphitheater Venue and Policy Updates New for the 2021 Concert Season
BEND, OR Updated 8.24.21In anticipation of your return to the Les Schwab Amphitheater we want to make sure you’ve got all the information you need before you arrive for the show.
Seating has been an especially hot topic this year. Low-profile chairs and beach blankets are allowed at the vast majority of concerts – Dave Matthews Band and Luke Bryan being the lone exceptions. Low-profile chairs measure 8 inches from the seat to the ground and 33″ inches from the top of the chair to the ground.
Les Schwab Amphitheater is now a cashless venue. Cashless means ALL points of sale at the venue – box office, food vendors, beverage tents, merchandise – will only accept credit, debit or mobile pay (such as Apple Pay or Google Pay). Fans who bring cash into the venue will have the option to exchange it for an unbranded debit card or gift card.
To reduce staff contact with guest belongings, and to increase everyone’s safety, we have implemented a new clear-bag policy. Permitted bags include an individual clear plastic, vinyl or PVC tote bag, clear backpack or fanny pack NO LARGER than 12 inches x 6 inches x 12 inches. The following clear totes are in stock at the Ticket Mill in the Old Mill District located at 450 SW Powerhouse Drive, Suite 408 (between Lush and Tumalo Art Co.). The Ticket Mill is open Monday – Saturday 10 a.m.-7 p.m. and Sunday 11 a.m.-6 p.m.
Solid small clutches or wallets no larger than 4.5 inches x 6.5 inches are also allowed
Additional health and safety measures in place throughout the venue include the following:
- As of Aug. 29 all attendees 12 and older must show proof of vaccination or negative COVID test.
- More sanitation stations and handwashing stations.
- Promotion of paperless tickets to eliminate touch-points.
- All venue employees vaccinated.
- Free water-filtration stations throughout the venue for fans to fill their reusable water bottles.
Help us create a safe and healthy experience for everyone – if you’re not feeling well, stay home. In regards to COVID-19, we will continue to monitor and follow state guidelines. Our health and safety protocols are subject to change as the COVID-19 situation evolves. Our website, emails and social media will be your best resources.
